Textbooks
For core courses, textbook requirements vary depending on the professor, however, MOST textbooks are only ‘recommended’ and not mandatory. If you need to refer to the textbook, most are on reserve at the library and your PAs would generally suggest that buying a textbook is not really worth the money.
If you still feel the need to purchase textbooks, there will be some 2nd years selling them in the beginning of the year via the Marketplace email list (you will get instructions on how to subscribe to this email list during Orientation) and you can also check out the campus bookstore or sites such as Amazon.com of Chegg Textbook Rentals.
School Supplies
Outside of a laptop computer, a few pens, a notepad, and binders for storing class handouts, there really isn’t anything else that you need in terms of school supplies…
