The library in Uris Hall is affectionately known as “Club Watson” because it is the most un-library like library ever…and more like a happy hour without the alcohol. The library is usually crowded (especially during midterms/finals) and noisy (so we recommend wearing headphones if you’re easily distracted). On the plus side, it is a great place to chat with fellow classmates, eat lunch (food and non-alcoholic drinks are allowed) and meet with your learning team in the group meeting rooms.
If you’re looking for a bit more peace and quiet, you can check out the 2nd and 3rd floors of Watson or check out one of the other libraries on campus. NOTE: The Science and Engineering Library is a GREAT alternative to studying in Watson, and there is lovely coffee place (Joe Coffee) in the same building (though you can expect long lines).
